Since graduating from UWI as a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2016, it has been my passion as a General Dental Practitioner to enhance the smiles of all my patients, children and adults alike.
As a proficient dentist, I diagnose and treat conditions by performing a variety of dental procedures, with a proclivity for restoring teeth that can be saved, and removing and replacing those that can’t. By being compassionate and empathetic, it is my aim to not only alleviate the common fears of the dental visit but to elevate my patient’s experience of their current and their future visits.

After graduating uwi Dental School in 2019, I obtained a diploma in Primary Care Dentistry from the royal college of surgeons ireland in 2023 and Certification in Medical Aesthetics from the AAAM in 2024.
Hi, I am Dr Amy Leigh Teixeira, a 2019 graduate from the University of the West Indies School of Dentistry with special interest in furthering my skill set in the realm of medical aesthetics. I have been practicing at Gentle Dentistry since 2021 straight out of internship, continuing to learn and advance my dentistry year after year under the guidance of our many other skilled associates. My favorite procedures are cleanings and anterior restorations, as I believe these procedures make my patients feel and look their best. I look forward to treating my patients not only on the dental chair but in the spa as well !
