Dr. Derek Ramcharitar
Principal Dentist
Dr. Derek Ramcharitar’s practice is focused on advanced surgical solutions, including comprehensive implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, occlusal rehabilitation, and digital orthodontics. With approximately 28 years of clinical experience and over 21 years as Clinical Director of GDICL’s three dental practices, he has played a significant role in shaping modern dental care while mentoring more than ten associate dentists. He completed a postgraduate diploma in dento-facial orthopedics from the London Dental Institute, with his practice further expanding into airway and sleep dentistry. Dr. Ramcharitar remains deeply passionate about continuous learning and professional growth.

Dr. Narvin Ramlal has been part of Gentle Dentistry for over 15 years, proudly serving both Central and South communities. He is committed to delivering high-quality, painless dental care while embracing the latest advancements in dental technology and innovation. Dr. Ramlal values collaboration and teamwork, working closely with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with Honours from the University of the West Indies.

Dr. Keisha Broomes is a dedicated dentist with over 15 years of experience in the dental field. A graduate of the University of the West Indies in 2008, she is passionate about educating patients on the importance of good oral hygiene and preventive care. Dr. Broomes has extensive experience treating children, adolescents, adults, and patients with dental anxiety, and believes strongly in collaborative care. She remains committed to delivering exceptional service through clear communication, teamwork, and the use of the latest dental technologies.
Dr. Risa Yuk Low

Dr. Risa Yuk Low earned her Bachelor of Science with Honours and Doctor of Dental Surgery with Distinction from the University of the West Indies in 2016. Since graduating, she has practiced as a General Dental Practitioner at Gentle Dentistry, where she is dedicated to enhancing smiles for both children and adults. Known for her compassionate and empathetic approach, Dr. Yuk Low focuses on diagnosing and treating dental conditions while preserving natural teeth whenever possible. Her goal is to reduce dental anxiety and elevate each patient’s experience, ensuring long-term oral health and confidence.
